I’ve often fielded inquiries about making upgrades to clients homes such as kitchen or bath remodels. My answer always has return questions on how the client is going to pay for the upgrades and if the remodeling is to enjoy the home or get ready to sell. As you will not get dollar for dollar investment out of remodeling or upgrading including counter tops etc. it is best to invest in something you can enjoy for a couple years before you decide to sell.
